 25-26 Basketball Cheerleading Important Information

Monday, November 10th - Cheerleader Application Form Due (see below)

Monday, November 17th - Clinic

Tuesday, November 18th - Official Tryouts

Wednesday, November 19th - Cheer Parent Meeting @5:00 /Uniform Fitting

Thursday, November 20th - First Official Practice followed by MANDATORY PARENT SPORTS MEETING @ 5:00pm

***There are 2 meetings for the winter season. One specifically for cheer on 11/19 and one for VSMS Athletics on 11/20 ***

Please fill out the following cheerleader application form. This form needs to be filled out before November 10th if you plan on trying out for the 25-26 Winter Season.

(Posted Nov. 10th) Required Dance for Tryouts: LINK

At tryouts you will be required to show us your:

• Tryout Dance (linked above) - you need to learn this BEFORE tryouts

• 2 Jumps (Toe Touch and a Herkey)

• Basketball Chants - you will learn AT clinic

Tryout Requirements:
All students must have the following completed before tryouts:

• A current physical

• A completed FamilyID registration (link)

• Completed Cheerleader Application Form (link)

 Important:

• Upload the student’s physical to FamilyID

• Bring a physical copy of the student’s physical to tryouts

• Parents must attend the Athletic Sports Meeting hosted by Mr. Tenney on 11/20 at 5:00pm
