Pre-departure information

Lying at about 126 meters above sea level, Vallendar is warm and temperate, with the temperature typically settling at between 30°F to 76°F. If you do not enjoy temperatures at either end of the extremes, the temperature usally does not exceed 88°F or drop below 16°F. For those that find the trinkle of raindrops against the window relaxing, Vallendar also experiences an abundant amount of rainfall, averaging nearly 26 inches per year. 

Important Items to Pack!

• A copy of your important documents like your passport

• Change some US Dollars into Euros before you arrive or plan to use the airport ATM when you arrive. Take a card that doesn't charge international transaction fees.

• One or more adapters and power converters for 220 volts (if your electronics are not already "dual voltage") - European outlets are different!
