You can get gear pretty easily. When you hit level 65 you will be granted an awakening quest. During the banquet, you will receive a basic set of gear. Honestly, go ahead and use and enchant this gear until you hit level 69 and can buy Annihilation gear off the broker. Most people recommend enchanting the set they give you until it becomes damaged and then dismantling it for feedstock. If you are a returning player having already finished the apex quest, you can enchant your gear for gold or you can do the Exodor questline and they will give you green gear. Once again, once you hit level 69, you will want to replace this with Annihilation gear which you can buy from the broker. If your jewelry sucks, you can buy a box of jewelry from the Vanguard merchant in Highwatch for 15 credits. This gives you crit Entropy jewelry, a Goddess brooch, a belt and and circlet. You will have to spend about 50k Gold on Uncommon Accessory Morphers from the Magic Materials Merchant to change your rings, necklace and earrings to power variants. From there you can upgrade it. Or you can try your luck in Draakon's Arena for the new necklace and rings. For Kaia's gear, it will require you to complete the a story quest. You will take annihilation and combine it with either Heroic Oath +0 - +3 or a Black Core essence which you can craft when talking to Forvath at the end of the questline. That about takes you up to speed. Note that on Kaia's gear, you get an extra infusion stat line (for a total of three).

Increases Power by 4
Roll power for more damage and upgrade for a bit more endurance.
You want an Annihilation Mask with physical amplifier rolls.
If you run a Bahaar or Transcendent Mask, you want cooldown reduction.
You want an Annihilation Brooch with physical amplifier rolls.
If you run the Goddess Brooch, you can run double power rolls or do the standard 3 power, 6 crit factor ones.
This piece of gear will greatly help with your Godsfall and Ragnarok rotations. You will want to use a pumped etching. I recommend Pumped I on a budget and Pumped II if you are looking to achieve your Valkyrie's maximum potential.
You want an Annihilation Belt with physical amplifier rolls.
If you run the Heroic Oath Belt, you can run double power rolls or do the standard 3 power, 6 crit factor ones.
Get the best belt you can afford. You will want to use a pumped etching. I recommend Pumped II on a budget and pumped IV if you are looking to achieve your Valkyrie's maximum potential.
Power based Rings x2
Roll the most power / physical amplification you can.
For crystals, use powerful vyrsks; however, if you don't have a decent crit rate (between 70-80%), you may have to run a keen green or two when running with a priest to supplement not having adequate crit factor. Alternatively, you can use swift vyrsks.

Power based Necklace x1

Increases Physical Crit Power > Increases Power > Increases Physical Amplifier
Use a superior Physical Crit Power innerwear once your Physical Amplifier exceeds 90k. On a budget, you can use a Power innerwear. Physical Amplification innerwear is okay due to the passives other skills gain from it; however, power seems to outweigh the damage of physical amplification.
