Is the whole carnival outside? 

YES! All games, activities and food will be held outside on the field and blacktop behind the school. In the event of bad weather, we will notify families via email and on Facebook of the cancellation. (No rain date)

Can I just drop my child off? 

No. All students must have an adult with them to attend the event. No after school childcare is provided prior to the carnival and students cannot be left unattended at the school (YCare will still run as scheduled).  

Where should we park? 

If you live close, we encourage you to walk or bike as parking will be limited. There are bike racks at the school entrance. Otherwise parking is available in the parking lot, on County Rd E2 and on Chatham Road.

What is FREE?

Every child will receive a small bag (while supplies last) with some goodies and freebies. Games, activities and prizes are all FREE, however most will require a ticket.  Tickets will be given at the entrances.  Please see "How do I get game tickets? for more information).  Additionally, we will have free popcorn, cotton candy (courtesy of the Arden Hills Lions Club) and water (while supplies last). 

How do I get game tickets?

This year, all games and activities will require a FREE game ticket.  The only exception is the photo booth which is also free and does not require a ticket.  At the entrance, adults will need to request the number of ticket packets (20 tickets per packet) needed for all children in their care ages 13 and under.  Children need to be present in order to have their hands stamped to show they have been given tickets.

What food and drinks will be available?

There will be several food trucks and vendors selling food and drinks (see list above). You can also bring your own picnic dinner and eat at one of the many tables provided.  Food needs to stay outside; it cannot come into the school building.

Will there be bathrooms?

Yes! We will have monitored access to the indoor bathrooms at DOOR 6. But there will be no other access to inside the building during the event.  Children must be accompanied by an adult.  There is also a port a potty near the baseball field across from the parking lot.

How do I enter to win the Raffle Prizes?

We will be accepting donations to help cover the cost of the carnival. For every $5 you donate (cash or credit card) you will receive 2 Raffle Tickets. Fill out the ticket (make sure it can be read) and place it in the bucket of the prize you would like to win. Raffle winners will be drawn at the end of the carnival, and any winners not present will be notified by email or phone.
