Research
My research interests focus on:
High-contrast imaging: I have carried out over 100h of observations in visitor mode using high-contrast imaging instruments at 10m-class telescopes (including ~70h as PI). I develop and apply new image post-processing algorithms to detect circumstellar signals. I also have a broad interest in new adaptive optics systems and coronagraphs, and the optimal combination of observing strategies and post-processing algorithms.
Detection and spectral characterization of young substellar objects: with a particular focus on the search for protoplanets, and inference of their physical properties.
Imaging and characterization of circumstellar disc structures: in particular characterization of spiral arms through geometric fits and comparison to predictions from hydrodynamic simulations.
Sub-mm interferometry: in particular, imaging of protoplanetary discs using the Atacama Large Millimeter Array (ALMA).

I don’t know what I’m looking for... I think it might be because if I knew I wouldn’t be able to look for them.
