Fees

Tournament fees,merch, and other purchases can be made through the Valencia ASB Store. You will need to make an account if it is your first time paying through ASB. Once you do, please find the "Speech and Debate" tab at the top of the page to visit our store. 

TCFL Tournament Fees are $20 per entry. Meals vary, but are usually $8-$10. Invitational tournament entry fees vary.

IMPORTANT CHANGE: For the 24-25 season, I will not be collecting fees on a tournament-by-tournament basis. 

Instead, we will have a package available for you to pay tournament fees up front.

The packages are $75, $180, $300, & $450. 

Keep in mind that other than $10 per student to maintain our memberships in NSDA, TCFL, and CHSSA, these packages are FULLY REFUNDABLE. If you do not compete, you will receive a refund. Further, the money collected in the packages can go toward any Speech and Debate expenses, not just TCFL tournaments.

WHY: Collecting for tournaments one at a time becomes very onerous for me and prevents me from actually having time to coach; further, collecting money in ADVANCE of a tournament allows me to request checks early and avoid out-of-pocket expenses and reimbursement paperwork! 

Packages can also be purchased via check or cash (bring to Mrs. Ford directly, so it can get deposited into the Speech and Debate ASB account). 

If you need to pay for your package in installments ($25/month or something similar) please make arrangements with Mrs. Ford!
