AGREEMENT TO TERMS

By downloading, installing, or using the Vaktim application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and PWACrafter ("we," "us," or "our") regarding your use of the Vaktim application.

DESCRIPTION OF SERVICE

Vaktim is a mobile application that provides:

• Islamic prayer times (Fajr, Dhuhr, Asr, Maghrib, Isha) based on your location

• Qibla direction compass

• Daily Quran verses

• Dhikr (remembrance) counter

• Kaza (missed prayers) tracker

• Fasting mode with Sahur and Iftar times

• Prayer time notifications

• Islamic calendar with Hijri dates

• Esma-ul Husna (99 Names of Allah)

The App is provided free of charge with advertisements.

ELIGIBILITY

You must be at least 13 years of age to use this App. By using the App, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement.

USER RESPONSIBILITIES

By using the App, you agree to:

• Use the App only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms

• Not attempt to interfere with or disrupt the App's functionality

• Not reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App

• Not use the App in any manner that could damage, disable, or impair the service

• Verify prayer times with local Islamic authorities when critical accuracy is required

• Grant necessary permissions (location, notifications) for full functionality

PRAYER TIMES DISCLAIMER

IMPORTANT: The prayer times provided by Vaktim are calculated using the Aladhan API with the Diyanet İşleri Başkanlığı (Turkish Religious Affairs) calculation method. While we strive for accuracy:

• Prayer times are mathematical calculations based on your GPS coordinates

• Times may vary slightly from local mosque schedules

• Users should verify times with their local Islamic authority for important religious obligations

• We are not responsible for any missed prayers or fasting times due to reliance on the App

• The Qibla direction is based on device sensors and may not be 100% accurate

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

The App and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by PWACrafter and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes.

Quran verses are sourced from Al Quran Cloud API and are in the public domain.

ADVERTISEMENTS

The App displays advertisements through Google AdMob. By using the App, you acknowledge and agree that:

• Third-party advertisements will be displayed within the App

• Ad content is provided by third parties and we do not control or endorse such content

• Clicking on advertisements may redirect you to third-party websites

• We are not responsible for any transactions or interactions with advertisers

THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

The App relies on the following third-party services:

• Google AdMob: For advertisement display

• Aladhan API: For prayer time calculations

• Al Quran Cloud API: For Quran verse content

• Google Play Services: For location services

We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or content of these third-party services. Your use of third-party services is subject to their respective terms and policies.

DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT ANY WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.

We do not warrant that:

• The App will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free

• Prayer times will be 100% accurate for all locations

• The Qibla direction will be perfectly accurate

• The App will be compatible with all devices

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, PWACRAFTER SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• Loss of profits, data, or goodwill

• Service interruption or device damage

• Missed prayers or religious obligations due to inaccurate times

• Any other intangible losses

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE APP (WHICH IS ZERO, AS THE APP IS FREE).

INDEMNIFICATION

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless PWACrafter and its affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from:

• Your use of the App

• Your violation of these Terms

• Your violation of any third-party rights

MODIFICATIONS TO THE APP

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the App (or any part thereof) at any time without prior notice. We shall not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the App.

CHANGES TO TERMS

We may revise these Terms at any time by updating this document. The "Last Updated" date at the top will reflect the most recent revision. Your continued use of the App after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.

TERMINATION

We may terminate or suspend your access to the App immediately, without prior notice, for any reason, including breach of these Terms.

Upon termination, your right to use the App will cease immediately. All provisions of these Terms that should survive termination shall survive.

GOVERNING LAW

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Turkey, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Istanbul, Turkey.

SEVERABILITY

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

ENTIRE AGREEMENT

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and PWACrafter regarding your use of the App and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.
