I am a Lithuanian-born artist living and working in Switzerland. After earning my Master of Law degree from Vilnius University in 2004, I practiced for ten years as an attorney at law specializing in intellectual property, competition law, contracts, and litigation.
In 2015, I moved to Switzerland with my family – and with the decision to finally pursue the path I had long postponed: art.
Today, I live in Richterswil (Canton Zürich). In the fall of 2025, I started studying in the Bachelor of Fine Arts program at the Hochschule Luzern HSLU – Design Film Kunst.

My work is centered on the collision between nature and intellect — intellect as nature’s own product, perhaps even its mutation — and on all that follows from it: self-consciousness, civilisation, and self-destructive power. I approach this from the position of a woman, mother, and migrant, and less from self-expression than from a sense of responsibility toward the future.
The human body is central to my work as the embodiment, carrier, and witness of human life. My practice is informed by my former work as an attorney at law, as well as by a broad engagement with life sciences, history, ethnography, and archaeology. It takes form through oil painting, drawing, sculpture, installation, and scientific experimental processes. Each medium has its own necessity, reveals a different state of reality, and bleeds into the others.
