I explore humanity. What have we made of ourselves and of what we inherited from those who lived thousands of years ago? What endless futures are we creating and killing every day, for ourselves and for those who will come after us?
The human body is my visual language, particularly the female body, as a recognizable form carrying inherited cultural meanings, as well as power, intimacy, warmth and pain. My body and my mind are my tools. The ancient practices of painting and ceramics are my media. And somewhere between my honesty, my hands and my love, something happens.
