Q1. What is Vahan Service?
Vahan Service helps garages manage vehicles, job cards, billing, and backups from a mobile phone. The app supports English and Hindi.
Q2. Is my data stored online?
No. Your vehicles, job cards, and profile data are stored on your device. We do not run a cloud login or sync service in this version.
Q3. How do I create a backup?
Go to Settings → Create Backup.
Android: Backup saves to Download/VahanService/
iPhone: Backup saves inside the app’s Files folder (On My iPhone → Vahan Service → VahanService)
Q4. How do I restore a backup?
Go to Settings → Import Backup and select your .vtrack backup file.
Q5. I get “Operation not permitted” on iPhone.
Update to the latest app version. Backups on iOS are saved to the app Documents folder, not Downloads.
Q6. Camera not working on iPhone.
Allow Camera and Photos when prompted. If needed: iPhone Settings → Vahan Service → Camera / Photos → Allow.
Q7. Can I share invoices with customers?
Yes. Open a completed job card invoice and use the Share option to send the PDF.
Q8. Can I reopen a completed job?
Yes, within 14 days of completion, if the option is still available on the job card.
Q9. Does the app work without internet?
Yes, for daily use (vehicles, job cards, invoices). Internet is only needed for WhatsApp support and sharing files.
Q10. Which devices are supported?
Android and iPhone (iOS). Use the latest OS version your device supports.
