Hi, I’m Himakshi Sharma — a curious mind who loves understanding what makes people click, think, and feel.
I started my journey in Computer Science, where logic and structure shaped my foundation. But what truly fascinated me wasn’t just how systems work — it was how people interact with them.
That curiosity led me into the world of UX Research, where I blend psychology, empathy, and analysis to make technology feel more human.
Over time, I’ve built my skills through self-learning, completing the Google UX Design Professional Certificate, and working on projects that explore real-world problems — from improving social good accessibility to refining digital experiences through research-backed insights.
I believe good design starts with listening.
Every user story reveals a need, and every frustration offers a clue. My process focuses on:
Understanding user behavior through empathy and inquiry
Translating research into actionable design direction
Asking the “why” behind every click
As someone who calls herself a bit of an overthinker, I’ve learned to use that as my strength — questioning deeply, exploring multiple angles, and anticipating user reactions before they even happen.
Research: User Interviews, Affinity Mapping, Empathy Mapping, Surveys, Usability Testing
Design Tools: Figma, Google Forms
Soft Skills: Empathy, Communication, Observation, Analytical Thinking
When I’m not immersed in user journeys, you’ll find me writing shayari, exploring human emotions through music, or simply observing the world — all of which quietly shape my understanding of people and their stories.
