The role of Year Representatives is to be the liaison for PSA members and the undergraduate planning student body. They’ll keep their cohorts in the loop, whether in class or through social media, about any PSA, SoP, and OPPI/CIP events or updates. Plus, they’ll lend a hand with PSA Executive tasks whenever needed. The reps will be selected by their cohort at the start of the term and PSA will have a rep from every undergraduate cohort that's in school for the term.
Hi, my name is Jacky and I am in my 1A term of planning! I've always been interested in the transportation aspect of urban planning, and this pushed me towards studying at the School Of Planning here at Waterloo! A small thing that instantly makes my day better is getting good eats with the guys.
Hi, my name is Evelyne and I am in my 1A term of planning! Originally I was planning on go into architecture, but then when planning my life out, it seemed like a better plan would be going into planning. So I planned to go into planning to plan for my future full of planning. One small thing that instantly makes my day better is waking up and seeing my beloved Clodsire plushie and locking eyes with it. 😍
Hi! My name is Adriana and I am in my 2A term of planning! I took the public bus for the first time in 9th grade and searched "what career has to do with buses?" on Google, and it led me to planning. I became fascinated by planning as a whole and it's now a major (like... very major) part of my personality and life! One small thing that instantly makes my day better is a really great sunrise or getting hotpot!
Hi, my name is Bowen and I am in my 2A term of planning. I decided to study planning because I want to make a difference in the community. One thing that instantly makes my day better is going to the gym.
Hi, my name is Jad and I am in my 3A term of planning. I chose to pursue planning because the functions of cities and systems that bring in growth to built areas has always been fascinating to me since I was little. In my home city, seeing developments come into place, large scale transit projects form around vital hubs and important districts, and understanding how movement is done around cities based off people's everyday needes have always made me wondered: How can we make this even more efficient? One thing that instantly makes my day better is definitely some good techno blasting through my headphones (with a sunny sky).
Hi! My name is Manuela and I am in my 3A term of planning! I got into planning because I was interested in housing, particularly rising unaffordability. One small thing that instantly makes my day better is a warm cup of tea!
