What is an SIGs? They are known as Student Interest Groups, and they are a great way to network, mingle, and learn from peers and future colleagues with similar interests and values. SIGs are created by the students for the students, and have been foundational for current, new, and returning students who are navigating through the nursing program and UW as a whole. Whether you are an individual from out of state or have been living in the greater Seattle your whole life, SIGs are a great way to develop interpersonal and interprofessional life skills that will be needed in your future nursing career. Below are just a few of the UW SoN (School of Nursing) SIGs that you could be a part of!
