The Uptown West Neighbourhood Association is a community organization working to build community in the Uptown West area.
The Uptown West Neighbourhood Association (UWNA) is a volunteer-driven, non-profit organization dedicated to building a vibrant, inclusive, and connected community in the Uptown West area of Waterloo. Our neighbourhood spans Erb Street West, King Street South, Westmount Road South, and John Street West.
We work to:
Foster community spirit through social, recreational, and educational activities.
Promote equity, safety, and inclusivity in all programs and events.
Collaborate with the City of Waterloo and local organizations to enhance neighbourhood life.
Encourage environmental awareness and maintain a clean, welcoming environment.
Provide opportunities for residents to connect, share ideas, and shape our community together.
The UWNA operates in a non-partisan, non-denominational, and non-political manner, ensuring that everyone feels welcome. Membership is open to all residents within our boundaries, and we invite you to join us in making Uptown West a great place to live, work, and play.
