Kate Lawson (she/her) is a senior studying Political Economy and Public Policy. She is passionate about contemporary political issues, and studies the interplay between Coase theory, emerging green technologies, and environmental regulation. She is so grateful to be a part of UWJPS, and is excited to hold space for the work of UW Political Science students in her time at UW. In her free time, she has done a variety of political action work across the state, local, and federal levels, and is pursuing a Dance minor!
Kaitlyn O'Connor (she/her) is a senior studying Political Science and Philosophy. Kaitlyn is interested in how economic systems and trends intersect with foreign politics and elections. Passionate about empowering student involvement in the legislative process, Kaitlyn dedicates her time outside of UWJPS to lobbying for student interests through her work with the ASUW Office of Government Relations. She has interned for the Governor’s office in her home state of Colorado, where she furthered her interest in the government while hiking the Rocky Mountains (hike recommendations include Mt. Si, Lake Isabelle, and Lake Serene).

Dylan Bianchi (He/Him) is a junior at UW majoring in Political Science. He is interested in the political landscape of Washington State, specifically the relationship between housing policy and homelessness. Outside of UWJPS he is involved in ASUW Student Senate and Huskies for Housing.

Allie Goodman-Callender (she/her) is a senior studying Political Science and International Studies. She is passionate about US-East Asia relations, nuclear security, and international law. She is particularly interested in how emerging technologies like artificial intelligence and autonomous weapons are reshaping global security frameworks and shifting geopolitical dynamics. Harrison Prow
Finance Director
Harrison Prow (he/him) is a senior studying International Relations and Finance with a political science minor. He is passionate about diplomacy in the Middle East, nuclear nonproliferation, and environmental law. After interning with the office of Congressman Adam Smith and advocating for constituents in Seattle, he will study abroad in Germany to explore European markets and politics. Outside of the journal, he plays ultimate frisbee for UW Sundodgers.
Bailey Moroson

Bailey Moroson (she/her) is a senior at the University of Washington studying a double major in Law Societies and Justice and Cinema and media studies with a minor in International Studies. Bailey is enthusiastic and passionate about studying constitutional law, public policy and systemic racial injustices within American history, with a focus on driving forward meaningful reform and advocacy within the criminal justice system. She is excited to be working with UWJPS and values the opportunity to engage in meaningful collaboration with her peers. This past summer Bailey participated in a Comparative Punishment LSJ Study Abroad program, researching rehabilitation practices and the International carceral system in England/Netherlands.
