Pre-departure information

Throughout most of the year, the city experiences warm, sunny weather. In summer, the temperature tops out at around 90 degrees F while fall and spring are more moderate.

Perth is also the windiest city in Australia, especially in the warmer months. Winter brings cooler temperatures (with highs of around 65 degrees F and lows of around 45 degrees F) and the occasional downpour.

Important Items to Pack!

• A copy of your important documents like your passport

• Your Gallagher health insurance information

• Change some US Dollars into Australian Dollars before you arrive or plan to use the airport ATM when you arrive. Take a card that doesn't charge international transaction fees.

• One or more adapters and power converters for 230 volts (if your electronics are not already "dual voltage") - Australian outlets are different!
