ABSTRACT
A third-year multimedia arts student who discovers that a secondhand camera lens from a surplus shop reveals more than what the human eye can see—capturing hidden emotions, contradictions, and fragments of truth she calls a “Mirage.” On the other hand, "Incandescence" symbolizes the matching outcome of reality and the photo which shows the satisfaction and happiness of a person. While some of her photos align with reality, others expose unseen feelings, possible outcomes, or suppressed identities, blurring the line between memory and meaning. Her fascination deepens when her transferee classmate, Buenavondre, appears constantly distorted and unreadable in every frame, as if the lens itself refuses to reveal him. As Pilar searches for answers through her photographs, the story reflects on the idea that every person carries layers unseen by others and that art—and perception itself—can uncover truths often hidden behind the eyes.
