ABSTRACT

A curious news reporter and a man nicknamed “Incubus” form an unlikely alliance in hopes of making a difference in their lives and others’. Despite the world's resistance to change, they share ideas, conduct social research, and confront cultural taboos. Pilar aims to uncover how Filipinos view different types of desire and its morality, while Buenavondre attempts to shift from indulgence to redemption—seeking, at the very least, a change of heart after going guilty in his unusual case. As their research deepens, they begin noticing a strange, grayish strand appearing in every place they visit—something they call “The Silver Lining,” believed to be a mysterious clue that could lead them to the truth.
