Close interpretation of the soil horizons behind Delehanty hall shows no sign of human involvement in the soil. The soil horizons are very gradual and there are no clear lines. Within the areas where we would see human intervention such as the A Horizon, there are no agricultural marks or anything to indicate disturbance. The fact that there seems to be no defined line between the soil Horizon A and soil Horizon B means that there cannot have been any human plowing, for example. It seemed to be natural because of the weathered rock that was layered throughout the A and Especially B Horizons.
