I am from York, Maine, a small beach town in Southern Maine. I grew up traveling on the east coast of the United States, Colorado, and California with my family, which evolved into an strong desire to travel. I have volunteered at a nature reserve in Ecuador working with the natives on their farms by assisting with their projects. I have traveled to Europe eventually making a friend just outside of Paris, France. I have always been interested in science ever since I was a little kid. My mom recently told me that I was always interested in rocks picking them up inspecting and collecting them.
Geology first really caught my attention my freshman year of college when I took an intro to geology course because it sounded interesting. Because of that course I switched my major to geology and I am absolutely loving it!
I am taking this geomorphology course because I am very interested in geology and want to learn as much as I can in my college career.
