In 2025, one of the largest projects carried out by the S.A.M Academy was the Uuten Altai Tour 2025.
This journey was organized under the slogan: the best quality for the lowest price.
Imagine a journey from Ulaanbaatar to the Altai mountain range at an unbeatable price, impossible to find elsewhere, at any time and in any place.
This was not a simple trip, but a complete, certified shamanic training program, including treatments, massages, guidance, with a professional chef, experienced drivers, translators, and teachers of shamanism.
Have you ever heard of a journey bringing together three shaman teachers within the same team…
It is with immense joy that we present to you today this travel journal of the Uuten Altai Tour 2025.
I am convinced that through this article, you will feel the strength of knowledge, love, faith, the heart, and the value of friendship.
Shamanism is love.
Make yourself comfortable and enjoy the reading!
1. Theoretical and practical courses in traditional shamanism
Lead teacher: Batu
Bearer of the heritage of ancestral shamanism of Altaic origin.
Everything concerning traditional shamanism was explained using simple and modern words.
All of the teachings were based on the book “Fundamental Knowledge of Ancestral Shamanism of Altaic Origin”.
Assistant teachers: Carola and Camille
They taught the fundamental movements of traditional shamanism (in English and in French).
Good mastery of these movements allows, during shamanic rituals, mental clarity, protection from effects on hormones,
muscles, the cardiovascular, respiratory and nervous systems, and learning to precisely distinguish transitions of consciousness.
2. Feeling the difference of the AD, ET, OT, UG, AM energies in nature and in active places
We went to Mount Ot-khan Tenger, one of the largest OT centers in the world.
We chose the place where the energetic balance was the highest in order to practice teachings and shamanic rituals of connection to the ancestors.
This mountain is eternally snow-covered and is one of the peaks of the Khangai range, rising to 4,010 meters.
Practicing the fundamental shamanic movements near Mount Otgontenger and attempting a connection to the ancestors was a great honor for all participants.
We also traveled extensively in the Altai: Tsambagarav, Tsengel Khairkhan, Baga Turgen, Tsagaan Deglii, and other Altaic mountains.
These mountains are sacred, preserved from all human destruction, unaffected by global warming or radiation. The Mongolian State officially protects them and carries out traditional rituals there.
Activation locations ET
During the journey, we have given particular importance to rest and accommodation locations, choosing
as much as possible ET (Etügen) locations
Of course, there are other major ET (Etügen) and OT centers in the world.
However, those that have preserved their original dimensions, forms and essences, without being affected by radiation-laden winds or modern pollution, are extremely rare.
I recommend at the very least checking air traffic and radiation exposure on radar24 before traveling to such places.
ET activation sites
During the journey, we paid particular attention to rest and accommodation sites, choosing whenever possible ET (Etügen) locations.
Elsen Tasarkhai was our first stop: a place of exceptional energetic balance where desert, mountains and water coexist.
Observing how the energy balances itself and attracts animals and birds was deeply moving.
We stayed in Kharkhorin, the former historical capital of Mongolia, one of the largest Etügen centers in the country.
The name Kharkhorin means great sacred gathering.
The energy there is naturally stable, and history shows that the Mongols who settled there became powerful.
We are grateful that modern urbanization has not altered this place.
AD activation sites
The Uran Togoo volcano, located at an altitude of 1,680 meters, measures 500 to 600 meters in diameter and 50 to 60 meters in depth.
Its inclusion in the journey was the subject of long discussions. Although it resembles an ancient extinct volcano, its radiation,
magnetic waves, vegetation and geology profoundly influence the human nervous, mental and energetic systems.
Local populations are less sensitive there, due to their lifestyle, diet and traditions.
We crossed this place with extreme caution: head protected, silence, vigilance. A light rain helped us maintain energetic balance.
Shortly after our passage, we learned with astonishment that a famous Korean YouTuber had lost his life there.

After this place, we joined Lake Terkhiin Tsagaan, a remarkable Etügen balance site, which helped the travelers
to recenter themselves. We organized a small emotional and energetic support gathering there, dancing and singing even in the rain.
Thermal springs and treatments
We stayed at the Jaran Tsagaan center, a welcoming place that respects Mongolian traditions, equipped with very powerful therapeutic
hot and cold springs.
The springs at 60–80°C made it possible to eliminate parasites and bacteria. The travelers experienced deep relaxation, mental release, and a smooth circulation of energy.
Ancestral microbiome and diet
We also conducted an experiment inspired by the research of Professor Christina Warinner (anthropology and human evolution), on ancestral microbiomes that are in the process of disappearing.
Ancestral microbiome and diet
We came to the conclusion that it is possible to use very ancient microbiomes in Mongolia,
which are today in the process of disappearing worldwide.
By integrating them, it would be possible to reactivate and decode ancestral information preserved in human DNA.
This is why we consumed, with great caution, traditional Mongolian dishes: national cuisine, airag[1], aaruul[2], clarified butter, dairy products, as well as dishes prepared with offal.
Our travelers greatly appreciated meat from Mongolian livestock farming. The quality, taste and smell of this ecological meat were truly remarkable.
This is explained by the fact that Mongolians deeply love their animals, let them graze freely
according to the Laws of Nature, and when the animal is intended for food, slaughter it without fear or suffering, while performing
rituals of respect toward its spirit.
During our visit to Khovd province, local watermelons and regionally produced vegetables left a very positive impression on the travelers.
As the organizers were concerned that the introduction of new bacteria and microbiomes might cause digestive disturbances among the travelers, they offered, if necessary, a small quantity of alcohol as support.
Fortunately, none of the travelers were affected: all were in perfect health, “healthy as fish.”
Houses built in areas with strong AD khur activation often lead to a deterioration of health, constant emotional pressure and family difficulties. Some people live in such places without knowing it and mistakenly believe they are living in a “haunted house.”
In AD khur activation zones, animals and plants are rare. When animals are present, they are often rare species or show anomalies. Vegetation is mostly composed of toxic or psychoactive plants.
Of course, in order to attempt to rebalance these unstable energies, many “weeds” grow: these are the doctors of nature.
It is not recommended to stay or spend the night in these places, and food and water consumption should be avoided there.
It is also essential to carefully protect one’s hair.

The most singular and major places we visited:
A very large Etügen
We enter the region of the Baga Turgen waterfall.
Nature-loving travelers have often seen, around the world, many waterfalls, large or small.
The Baga Turgen waterfall is neither as famous, nor as large or spectacular as some of them.
However, its particularity lies in the fact that it descends directly from an eternally snow-covered mountain, under the influence
of OT khur energy, and flows down to the center of Etügen.
The natural structure of this place and its energetic balance were truly remarkable.
An Etügen at the heart of AD khur
Does this really seem singular to you?
Imagine a small corner of paradise nestled within the very heart of AD.
Such a natural phenomenon truly exists: the Mukhartyn River.
At the exact center of the sand dunes, the river bursts forth and flows with force, creating striking natural beauty and establishing a closed energetic balance.
What, then, is the secret that has allowed it, for millions of years, to exist without being buried beneath grains of sand?
The oldest Etügen
A legend tells that life was born in the Altai Mountains.
From a theoretical point of view, before the birth of life, the soul must appear; when life and soul exist, then consciousness is born.
Thus, according to traditional shamanism, the Altai Mountains are a living place, endowed with a soul and a consciousness, and above all of extreme antiquity.
When ocean tides once reached the emerged lands, these high plateaus became the refuge of all that was alive.
This is why the culture and genetic information of the peoples of the ancient worlds have remained preserved in this region.
The Gate of Heaven
It is fascinating to observe that ancient seabeds are now found on high continental plateaus.
This place, shaped over millions of years by summit winds after escaping the sand dunes, is considered
by shamans as the Gate of Heaven.
Beneath this gate, we performed a ritual during which we took an oath to Heaven, expressing our shamanic commitments, our life values, our dreams and our ethics.
The emotions were very intense for everyone. As a teacher, I advised the students to learn to master their emotions.
Once this mastery is acquired, the inner space expands, and one learns to govern and guide one’s heart.
Khar Us Lake, Zavkhan River and the Great Desert of Mongolia
Life exists among innumerable possibilities.
These magnificent landscapes, difficult even to imagine, are the paradisiacal lands found in Mongolian songs and legends.
From a shamanic point of view, these places constitute extremely rare natural formations, having found their balance within the energetic boundaries of Etügen.
Among them, the Zavkhan River, which rises at the OT khur center of Otgontenger, is particularly striking:
it flows along the boundary between sand dunes and steppes, offering a truly extraordinary vision.
During the practice of shamanic rituals, it is imperative to take into account the energetic circulation and the specific characteristics of the place. Otherwise, the rituals may lead to serious risks and failures.
Discovery of Mongolian popular traditions and customs
One of the objectives of all travelers visiting Mongolia is to enter the world of nomads and steppe herders, to discover their way of life, to take an interest in national culture as well as in ancestral traditional arts.
Surprises
As organizers of the journey, we also succeeded in delighting the travelers thanks to surprises that were not planned in the initial program.
Khöömii (overtone singing) class
First surprise in Ulaanbaatar, we offered the travelers an accelerated introductory course in khöömii, a traditional Mongolian art.
The famous khöömii singer Lkhamragchaa welcomed our spontaneous proposal with great enthusiasm and, in a very short time, set up a framework conducive to this teaching.
At the beginning of the journey, one of the surprises was the arrival of Batu’s shaman student disciples living in Mongolia.
Without informing anyone in advance, they came to meet the travelers and their teacher, offering artistic performances
as well as unique shamanic rituals.
In the middle of the journey, at the beginning of the Altai mountain range, Batu’s disciples also arrived with three yurts, a high-end national meal, musicians and dancers, offering a memorable surprise to all travelers and teachers.
They also selected two travelers to offer them, free of charge, a major shamanic ritual.
As these attentions had absolutely not been planned in the travel program, we — teachers and organizers — were completely taken by surprise, unable to find any other words than “thank you.”
Visit to a Mongolian nomadic herder family
Mongolian nomadic herders mainly move by following the activation of the natural spheres Etügen, AM and UG.
They never migrate at random.
Before each movement, they precisely evaluate where and when plants grow, the circulation of energies, wind movements, animal migrations, rainfall and snowfall. When these calculations are correct, the herd remains healthy and strong,
free of disease, and multiplies rapidly.
People living in UG and Etügen centers display emotional stability, good physical health, efficient digestion, and their animals are calm, unafraid and peaceful.
In such places, human cells develop in a healthy, qualitative and correctly coded manner. The mind becomes
sharp and clear.
From the second day of the journey onward, we visited nomadic herder families whenever the opportunity arose.
Our first visit was to a young couple living in a region combining desert and forest steppe.
The next took place just as a family had finished setting up their yurt after a migration.
Subsequently, we were welcomed by Kazakh and Dorvodes families, each receiving visitors with great generosity and warm hospitality, offering everything they possessed.
Another of our strengths
Most interpreters, guides and shamanic teachers in Mongolia explain nature, history and historical sites according to classic tourist frameworks, similar to those used in other countries. As for us, we chose to break with this standardized approach by linking our explanations to shamanism, traditions and energetic movements.
Along our route, we encountered hundreds of Bronze Age stone statues, deer stones, as well as ancient burial mounds. Passing by these sites — just as with museums, urban monuments or the everyday objects of herders — without any explanation would have been comparable to traveling with eyes closed and ears blocked.
A frequent mistake among many travelers is wanting to visit ancient tombs, burial mounds or ovoos. In reality, unknown funerary sites can cause energetic disturbances in visitors: slowing, weakening, acceleration or blockage of flows, leading to numerous risks.
This is why we always made sure to avoid exposing our travelers to these disturbances. When we had no other choice than to pass by vehicle near such places, we systematically performed an offering and a simple shamanic ritual.
We constantly paid particular attention to the physical and emotional health of our travelers. When some experienced energetic shocks or became ill, we provided them with body care as well as therapeutic shamanic rituals. On the one hand, this could be considered a service, but on the other, it was also a shamanic training combining theory and practice. The results of the treatments and shamanic rituals were truly remarkable.
We heard many expressions of gratitude and recognition that we had never heard before.
Fortunately, the majority of travelers who shared this adventure with us were joyful people, capable of having fun, celebrating, but also learning. The energetic balance and psychological stability of these autonomous adults brought us deep motivation and great affection.
This is why, for each traveler whose birthday occurred during the stay, we set a festive table, prepared gifts, sang and celebrated together. Our teachers wished to establish direct and personal contact with each student-traveler, in order to sincerely help them deepen their understanding of shamanic rituals as well as theoretical and practical knowledge.
Travel organization
The main organizer of the journey was Byambaa, with 20 years of experience in organizing various trips in Mongolia,
accompanied by her team.
Within Byambaa’s agency “Mongolia Trekking – Adventure Travel”:
- Oogii, former head chef of several of the best restaurants in Mongolia,
- specialized and experienced drivers, with reliable, comfortable and high-end vehicles,
- modern logistics meeting the requirements of contemporary travel: kitchen, mobile shower, yurts and tents, beds and mattresses.
Thus, although we traveled at the beginning of autumn, in the cold, we were able to rest in comfortable and pleasant conditions.
Conclusion
As for me, this was my first journey of this magnitude.
We tried to make this tour affordable, which is why we sought to see and experience as many things as possible with a minimal budget.
Yes, like any experience, there are several aspects.
Of course, the long car journeys were sometimes tiring, the number of days devoted to teachings and gatherings was limited,
and the requirements and framework imposed by the teacher were sometimes strict.
But the journey was very successful and deeply beneficial. I am convinced that anyone who sees the memories,
photos and videos that we created will be touched and will want to participate in our future journeys.
Indeed, we worked to correct certain points in order to organize our new adventures to be even more accessible, balanced,
and formative.
The 2026 journeys will take place under the theme:
“REVEAL THE SECRET”
We will answer all questions related to traditional shamanism, and we will analyze the mistakes and achievements of individuals, regardless of their level of knowledge, in order to define their objectives and future possibilities.
For this purpose, we have:
- a book containing the fundamental knowledge of traditional shamanism,
- solid experience in the transmission of shamanic knowledge.
And there is one thing we can promise: everything must remain true.
However, we do not promise to make everyone a shaman. This is impossible, as it depends on many factors: age, health, lifestyle, knowledge, experience and the temperament of each person.
On the other hand, we can transmit the essential knowledge to anyone wishing to follow the shamanic path,
by correctly recognizing the energetic characteristics of places with strong natural power, and by using them appropriately.
Cells become correctly coded and regenerate over time, energetic flows circulate without obstruction, supporting mental clarity
and physical health.
Under the influence of UG, AM and OT khur energies, the soul strengthens and becomes more materialized.
The more powerful the soul becomes, the more the health, vital force and intellectual capacities of the human being increase.
Thus, the brain becomes capable of recognizing and reading ancestral information inscribed in DNA.
These favorable conditions directly support the development of the soul.
Such is the objective of our journeys.
