Shivam is currently serving as the Mentoring Chair of ARC, IEEE Computer Society MGA Band Vice-Chair person (Collaboration), IEEECSSYP, MGAB. He has graduated from the Indian Institute of Information Technology Allahabad, India and is currently working as a Senior Engineer in ZS Associates in the NLP and Graph Domain.

Shivam was one the first Richard E.Merwin scholars from IEEE Uttar Pradesh Section which is awarded to only 40 student world wide every year by the IEEE Computer Society. He has over 20+ Project sand over 5+ Research Articles/Papers in the areas of Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Computer Vision, Image Processing, Graph and Natural Language Processing. He has worked with various national and international organizations. He was selected as a Summer Research Fellow at Indian Statistical Institute Kolkata by the Indian Academy of Science to work on “Automated Disease Diagnos is of Tissue Connective Disorder”. He has also submitted a book chapter on Medical Diagnosis using Neural Networks 'CIMLHCI2020' which has been accepted and will be published by De Gruyter publications. Some of his other publications include “Graph Enabled NLU Chatbot” and “ Semi-Automated Ontology Prediction ” in IEEE and Springers.

Apart from actively involved in research Shivam has worked on various project in ZS involving Data lake creation for a Big Pharma Client, Automating the alert generation for Alignment and Address changes hence enabling the reps to know their targets better using complex algorithmic approach and also on predicting the next best action for a particular customer helping the clients in Digital Marketing.

Shivam has recently worked on various Graph and NLP techniques for a varied set of business problems including building of Semantic Search, Topic Tagging and usage of graph in various recommendations. He also participated in the KaggleChallenge for designing a Question Answer Model based on a custom dataset where he used the concept of Knowledge Graph and NLP Techniques.

One of the projects he mentored on “Breast Cancer Phase Detection using Histopathological Images ”won the first prize during the IEEE Computer Society India Symposium 2018 held at Bodh Gaya, Bihar. He is writing a Book Chapter on Application of Machine Learning and Deep Learning in disease diagnosis and working on BrainSignal Classification Problem. He has also been invited to over 50+ Conferences/Events for delivering a keynote on Machine Learning and his research works.

Shivam has also been an active IEEE CS Volunteer for over four years and has held various responsibilities in IEEE Computer Society at various levels, He has monitored/conducted over 20+ Student and YP Events across India. He recently served as the Program Chair of All India Computer Society Student and Young Professional Congress. Shivam was also one of the key driving forces behind Technergize-Innovate, Collaborate, Build-an 8month long program aimed to promote collaboration between students and leading industry professionals. He has mentored more than 50 volunteers in Region 10 who have grown out to be a prominent leader in their region/section. Shivam has been spreading awareness about latest advancements in technologies which can make it easier to implement new ideas form mankind.

Apart from being a technological leader, Shivam has also published a novel about love and philosophy. His favorite hobby is deliberating with his colleagues about the fundamental nature of knowledge and reality.
