Silvia is a Master in Strategic Management in Software Engineering awarded by the European University of Miguel de Cervantes of Valladolid, Spain. Also she is an Information Systems Engineering and Specialist in higher education awarded by the Universidad Tecnológica Nacional, Córdoba, Argentina. Currently, she is a teacher in Higher Education and director of a research project on knowledge management and Agile methodologies in engineering education and moreover a research assistant in globalization, international trade and the environment project. Recently she is a teacher in the workshop of software development at the Universidad SigloXXI. Previously, she has participated in the organization of the International Engineering Workshop, a collaborative project between UCL and UTN with the support British Council focusing on the understanding of skills systems and the future of work and education for the digital era. During 2020 she has been collaborating in UCL Institute of Education Global Engagement Strategy and the IOE misión project, co-creating of strategies for responding to global challenges through discussions involving real working conditions; identifying patterns of competitiveness in the context of London, and how education adapts to changes in the labour market. Additionally she has strong interests in contributing to the collaboration across international institutions with aims a global view of apprenticeships schemes.

She has wide knowledge and experience advising in the implementation of IT in government areas. Se has a setskills in database administrator, methodologies, support IT and front-end. She is the author of papers and articles related to knowledge management and Agile and structure software methodologies, innovative strategies for education and skills training for progression to employment. Also she has been collaborating on projects on environmental governance and green trade at the Mercosur.

More recently she has been involved in several collaborative research in topics in vulnerabilities and risks cyberspace for children and ethical implications in artificial intelligence.
