About us

GMiP welcomes all who are dedicated to promoting gender equality within physics by providing a supportive community whose members share their experiences, advice, and ideas. We provide our members with outreach opportunities both within UT and the greater Austin area as well as resources for developing their future careers.

Hello! I'm a third year physics major on the general physics track. I do research within the Electrical Engineering with Dr. Bank. I work on XRD projects that involve scanning compound semiconducting materials wafers and analyzing the data! :)

Hi! I'm a second year physics major on the radiation track. I do research at the Nuclear Engineering Teaching Lab under Dr. Flanagan, and currently we are focusing on isomeric yield ratios of radioactive isotopes.

Hello! I am a second year physics/astronomy student. I do research in Dr. Galitzki's Millimeter Experiments Lab (cryogenics, instrumentation, and Cosmic Microwave Background). I would love to help build an inclusive community in physics and get people involved in their local community in Austin!
