Georgetown University Duel-in-the-District // Washington D.C. // March 30-31, 2019
Over the last weekend of March, UTCT traveled to Washington D.C. to compete in the 2019 'Duel in the District'. The Rockets had a wonderful weekend finishing with an overall record of 3-1.
In pool play, Toledo went undefeated 3-0 with wins over Duquesne, Delaware, & the tournament hosting Georgetown Hoyas. These three wins propelled them into the Gold Bracket.
In the Quarterfinals of the Gold Bracket the Rockets fell to the Quakers of UPenn, 16-11, officially putting an end to their successful weekend.

Ferris State Bulldog Invitational // Big Rapids, MI // March 23-24, 2019
Ferris State Bulldog Invitational // Big Rapids, MI // March 23-24, 2019
At their second event of the 2019 calendar year, UTCT traveled to Big Rapids, MI to compete in the Bulldog Invitational. The Rockets went 2-1 on Day #1 propelling them into the Gold Bracket.
On Day #2, Toledo fell to the tournament-hosting Ferris State Bulldogs 22-20 in the Semifinals. Ferris State then went on to top Western Michigan 30-13 in the Championship Match.
