2024-2025 Officers

Kristin is a third-year PhD student in the Georgiou Lab. Her research focuses on influenza-specific antibody repertoires elicited after vaccination and infection.  In her free time she enjoys listening to music, reading, running, and playing pool!

Shabnam is a first-year PhD student in the Seidlits lab. Her research focuses on how microglia cells condition the immune environment in glioblastoma cancer utilizing 3D hydrogel models. In her free time, she enjoys working out, reading, and drinking coffee. 

Domo is a first-year PhD student in the Stachowiak lab. Her research focuses on alternative methods of delivering microRNA therapeutics. When not in the lab, she enjoys thrifting, exploring Austin with friends, and being in the great outdoors!

Anakaren is a second-year PhD student co-advised by the Wang Lab and Noble Labs. Her research interests are optogenetic stimulation of the peripheral nervous system and neurotrauma. Outside of lab, Anakaren likes to go to hot yoga and try different coffee shops in Austin!
