Dear Malaysians,
How can we be better? How can we better better when everybody is wearing coloured glasses to look at everyone judgmentally. How can we improve the country when the people is not even "Satu".
How can we be better? When racism can never be eliminated in Malaysia due to our multiracial country. Multiracial is what makes Malaysia special. But at the same time it is one of the major factors that has been halting the growth of Malaysia. Racism due to solely on religion, race, ethnicity, origin, sexual orientation, mother language, gender, age, handicap or anything is enough to break the whole community and must be eradicated throughout our society.
Not only in the work field, education or government benefits, racism is everywhere. Nobody is able to live freely in this country. LGBTQ communities not only faces criticisms from the people around them, government are not allowing them to live their lives as well. They are being attacked from all manners whereas religion, sexual orientation and also law.
In Malaysia, females are not allowed to wear what they want. A slight shorter skirt or pants will be attacked, regardless of races. I believe in other countries, there are also people like that but in as Malaysia is a more conservative country, it is a bigger issue.
There are neither freedom of life, freedom of speech, nor freedom of clothing. The day when everyone stop judging or stereotyping people and unite to be "Satu Malaysia", that is the day that we will go towards glory.
