HIV is increasing rapidly in some populations, despite effective treatment and prevention, including in Indonesia.
Effective HIV prevention cannot be achieved without considering the social, cultural and political context. We are about bringing together an understanding of culture, community, stigma and social and behavioural context to accelerate effective medical HIV prevention in those most at risk. We aim to empower individuals by engaging them within tailored social-behavioural programmes to improve access and uptake of effective HIV treatment and prevention; linkage and supported retention in health care; overall wellbeing and a ‘thrive’ mentality.
We will use tailored media and digital innovation to accelerate the HIV response, promote wellbeing, health equality and a humans right based approach to HIV care and prevention.
Our digital tool also aims to spark interest and showcase simple, effective health and wellbeing information in formats appealing to Indonesian youth using digital forums they demonstrate high interaction in.
Comprehensive, person-focused medical HIV prevention and treatment, utilising rapid diagnostics, in a friendly, open-access environment will be offered through the study clinics.
We aim to accelerate the HIV response in line with UNAIDS 90-90-90 goals towards Ending AIDS by 2030.
