Dear USPD COOP members:
This year is another milestone for our Cooperative. I am inspired by embracing change and innovation that defines USPD in a world constantly evolving. We recognize that change is for growth and progress. Let us take this moment to embrace new ideas, technologies, and approaches, driving us towards greater success and fulfillment. Changes such as: digital payments, coming up with new products and services to cater to changing needs of members, maximizing existing properties and re-tooling personnel to serve better our members, are just a few of what our Cooperative will be implementing this year.
Together, let's go on this journey with open minds and determination to shape a future filled with positive change.
Thank you.

2022 ANNUAL REPORT
CHAIRPERSON'S MESSAGE
Dear USPD COOP members:
This year of 2023 has had a fantastic first quarter. We achieved several fresh goals while being adaptable to changing times.
We'd like to invite you to our General Assembly to discuss the improvements that will be implemented this year. Some of the changes that we will talk about are the following:
the updated credit policy,
increase collection efficiency,
operational efficiency,
products and services,
employees’ welfare & development including succession planning.
Our success is directly related to the hard work of our employees and members. We've made amazing strides this year, and I'd like to personally thank each employee and member, especially our MIGS (Members in Good Standing), for their dedication and consistency in moving our COOP ahead. This year, we transformed problems into opportunities, such as:
adaptation of new online payment options for the convenience of our members as a result of the pandemic;
the systematization in the implementation of MRP and
improving workstation conditions for greater efficiency and presentability.
Some plans are still in the works, but I hope to share them with you all soon. Thank you all for another excellent year. I look forward to continuing to overcome uncertainties in 2023 with you all.

2021 ANNUAL REPORT
CHAIRMAN'S MESSAGE
RESILIENCE!
When life throws us a lemon, let’s process it as a lemonade. The world today is not anymore bothered by COVID-19, instead, poverty and income are on top of the Business World survey.
Inflation, interest rate, sky rocketing gas price and minimal wage increase, in summary, the rise of cost of living. These are things in place for us this 2022.
Uncertain? Yes, but we can’t afford to dwell on these uncertainties. Let’s look for opportunities to beat it. Opportunities to move and think forward. Opportunities to grow. Opportunities to develop. Opportunities to revisit our skills, upskill or reskill if necessary.
It’s a matter or perspective. Either we empty our cup or bring a new cup. The point is we can do something. The question is ARE WE WILLING?
We have to be resilient, we need to bounce. Fall 100 times, rise 500 times. Let us all have a positive mindset. After all we are UNITED Sugarcane Planters of Davao, RESILIENCE IS INHERENT IN US.
Stay SAFE and HEALTHY !

Another successful forum!
Today, digiCOOP went to Kidapawan and held the digiCOOP Kidapawan forum 2022: Future-proofing the cooperative sector led by none other than Ms. Ann Cuisia, the President and CEO of digiCOOP Technology Service Cooperative.
More than 70 attendees from 30 various cooperatives in the region were present. The forum brought coops closer together and gave them an opportunity to future-proof their cooperative while improving their businesses.

CHAIRMAN'S MESSAGE
This pandemic exposes how fragile and unprepared we are from disruption. Many hopes were smashed. Many lives lost and transformed. Swamped and overwhelmed with uncertainty. Thrown out of balance.
Confused and scared. Shrouded with clouds of negativity. Altered belief system. Helplessness and hopelessness thrived. Setbacks and frustrations seem to be permanent.
Let us continuously remind ourselves that tough times do not last. There is always a light at the end of the tunnel, a HOPE ! It will take a lot of courage to start the great leap forward in whatever we are into right now, and USPD COOP is one of them, a BAYANIHAN of which we inherited from our ancestors. Let us wake up and free ourselves from the negative programming of the world from this crisis, ACT instead.
Let us value and take care of our family and spend more quality time with them. Accept openly without hesitation the health program of our government, minimum health protocol, vaccination, lockdowns, quarantines and work from home system.
Let us all have a positive mindset and stay negative from COVID. After all we are UNITED Sugarcane Planters of Davao, resilience is inherent in us.
Stay SAFE and HEALTHY !
