- The general difficulty is similar to part ii except more integrated organic chemistry and more calculations.

- Six to eight super long questions in five hours including two to three integrated organic problems, which represents 30-40% of the total points;
- The general difficulty is harder than USNCO national exam part ii, which can be used good preparatory problems for study camp.
- The scheme-based organic problems are good for students who finish reading the textbook and also practicing end-of-chapter problems to achieve mastery.
