The Crisis Center of Tampa Bay offers support that can address a variety of mental and physical needs. The Suicide Prevention Program at CCTB offers a variety of services aimed at preventing suicidal behavior and intervening with affected people.
TimelyCare is a 24/7 service that provides on-demand emotional support to talk about anything including anxiety, relationships, depression, and school-related stressors. USF currently enrolled students have free access to mental health care services.

USF Student Outreach and Support is a student-first direct care management team that supports students in managing stress that impacts their academic and overall health and wellness. Plan for success includes professor communication, coordinating referral linkage with appropriate on/off campus support services, letters of support, etc.
Crisis counselors for The Trevor Project are trained to answer calls, chats, or texts from LGBTQ+ young people who reach out on their free, confidential and secure 24/7 service when they are struggling with issues such as coming out, LGBTQ+ identity, depression, and suicide.
The Crisis Text Line provides free, 24/7, high-quality text-based mental health support and crisis intervention by empowering a community of trained volunteers to support people in their moments of need.
The Dougy Center has a vast amount of information and resources for young adults who are grieving the death of someone significant (parent, sibling, friend, partner, spouse, etc.) in their lives to find connection and support. Resources include podcasts, referrals, etc.
Now Matter Now hosts free, online peer support meetings throughout the week. These meetings offer a place to connect. Members share their stories, practice-evidence based coping skills together, and learn from one another. Everyone is welcome, exactly as they are. You can choose to join without audio or video.
RAINN is the nation’s largest anti-sexual violence organization. RAINN’s Online Hotline provides confidential, one-on-one, crisis support 24/7. You can chat with a trained staff member who will provide you with information and referrals through a secure instant-messaging format, or simply offer a safe place to talk about what happened.
DeafLEAD provides 24/7 crisis intervention, advocacy, case management, interpreting, and mental health support services to victims of crime who are Deaf, hard of hearing, DeafBlind, and late-deafened individuals and their families. The DCL Crisis Line is a resource for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing that operates as a videophone where the caller and crisis counselor can see each other.
