Using the PC VERSION of the Simulations
You may wish to use the PC version of the IDEA Simulations on your own desktop, rather that using VR Goggles.
This instructional video will show you how to access the simulations through the Apps Anywhere app that is found on your NC Portal on Blackboard.
These can only be played on a PC that has Windows 10 or 11. You CAN'T play the simulations using a MAC computer or mobile devices (including phone or tablet)
If you do not have Windows 10+ or a desktop, you can use any of the open access labs on campus (see below for info).

If you do not have a PC with Windows 10 to play the simulations at home, you can use an open access lab on campus to play using Apps Anywhere on Blackboard
WELLAND CAMPUS OPEN ACCESS LABS
Room SE182- Hours of Operation: 7:00 a.m. – 11:00 p.m.
Library – Upper and Lower Level – Only open during normal Library hours
DJP CAMPUS OPEN ACCESS LABS
Room N202 - Hours of Operation: 7:00 a.m. – 11:00 p.m.
Library – Only open during normal Library hours
Regular Teaching labs (Computer Classrooms) are available for open access use only when not in use for scheduled classes. Students may not sit in on classes in scheduled labs unless registered in the course being taught at that time in that room.
Students should also be prepared to show their student cards as photo ID upon request at any time by college staff, lab monitors or security staff.
