High School Youth & Ministry 

Sacrament of Confirmation for High School Youth: Guidelines and Expectations for Candidate and Sponsor found in Confirmation Brochure. 

• Official Baptismal Certificate due NLT 12/01 

• Attend (6) Monthly Confirmation Catechetical Sessions 

• Attend weekly High School Youth Program September 24 - May 7, 2024

Volunteers: 

• The commitment may range from 4 months to a year.  Each volunteer generously gives more than 90 hours of volunteer service annually to the youth program. 

• All volunteers trained in Child Protection by USAFA Family Advocacy

• Each volunteer from USAF Community Chapel receives an extensive background check (with finger printing)

Communication: 

Information about programming is available through the mail, parish bulletin, event flyers, announcements at Mass, email, text message, Instagram and St. Michael’s Facebook Page. 

Snow Policy: Colorado weather can change from hour to hour and from one location to the next. During severe weather please consult the local media to see if the base is closed. There is not a base phone number to call, and the chapel phones are not manned on Sundays. 

• Program will be held according to the set schedule unless the base is closed.
