I’m MSgt Anthony Schmaus. I am a husband of 16 years, a father of four, a graduate student at Dallas Theological Seminary, and last but not least, an active duty enlisted Air Force recruiter in Robinson, PA. I have been in the Air Force 16 years and have been stationed in Nebraska (Offutt AFB), Japan (Yokota AB) and now Western Pennsylvania.
I'm originally from Clearfield, PA. After I graduated high school I went to Duquesne University in Pittsburgh to study music. I took an audition in my last semester, at Langley AFB with the USAF Heritage of America Band, and was hired. I reached out to my Air Force recruiter immediately after and before I knew it I was in basic training down in San Antonio, TX! I went on a direct duty assignment from there to Offutt AFB, NE where I was a bassist for the USAF Heartland of America Band. I toured eight states in the Midwest and had an amazing time, but after three years I decided I wanted to really make it big as a musician, so I voluntarily separated and moved back to the East coast.
During that time I realized that I had actually already made it big in the Air Force! After almost three years of being out, I was able to re-enter the Air Force. I can honestly say that I haven't had a bad day in the Air Force Since!
In 2018 I volunteered to be an Air Force recruiter and now I’m here in Robinson, PA in a new and exciting chapter of my Air Force career to help YOU get started with yours.

**To be qualified you must:
-be at least 17 years old (have parents' permission if 17)
-be a U.S. citizen or a permanent resident
-meet height, weight and vision standards
-pass an in-depth medical exam
-achieve a qualifying ASVAB score
-have no drug or criminal violations
**Program runs from April 1st through September 30th**
