The Home Readiness Plan is a proactive effort to make sure our band members and their families and homes are never left unsupported during absences, early morning/evening shifts, tour, deployment, etc. It is a way to reframe home readiness as a mission readiness concern rather than “quality-of-life” concern.
Our goal is to create a self-sustaining network that can:
Provide childcare support for families when both parents have conflicting schedules or mission obligations.
Offer pet care assistance during leave, deployments, TDY, etc.
Spouse & Family care for spouses who are on deployment and TDY's.
Other needs such as transportation help, errand assistance, meal support, etc.
Being a bandsmen within the Home Readiness Network, you’re not just volunteering—you’re helping to create a resilient, caring community within the band.
