Festival details
The Twin Cities Bird Festival is FREE and has something for all ages and birding abilities. Whether you've never picked up a pair of binoculars before or have already seen your first warbler of the season, there's something here for you. Bring a friend, your neighbors, your kids, and your family!
Free parking is available on site. A shuttle will assist with overflow parking as needed.
Food trucks from Brew and Barre and Eggroll Queen will be on site, and picnic tables will be available throughout the day. Concessions will also be available at the Visitor Center.
This festival is happening rain or shine, so please dress for the weather so you can enjoy yourself.
A portion of the festival is accessed by a steep incline. Visitors may use the elevator inside the Visitor Center to reach the lower level without needing to walk the incline.
Awesome events happening all day! Visit our Festival Schedule for more details.
Listen to live raptor programs where you can learn about the charismatic birds soaring in your neighborhood and perching on streetlights.
Join us for guided bird walks to explore the birds of the park. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced birdwatcher, these walks are a great way to learn, ask questions, and spot birds you might otherwise miss.
Interested in diving in and learning more about birds? Our Speaker Series brings the bird experts to you! Check back in 2027 for our full lineup of topics and speakers.
