Picture 1: A man in NYC pushing around a cart full of bottles and other recyclables to return them in order to receive money back to buy a drink or food. The cart also has his belongings in them which include other jackets and clothes that he has to bring with him everywhere because he has no where else to put them. This is a negative on the topic.

Picture 5: We have all see some homeless people in NYC sitting on the curbs with dogs. Well a couple of organizations came together and hosted a street clinic a couple of months ago for the health care of the animals and their homeless owners. Picture 6: Right now NYC does have record breaking numbers for the amount of people in their homeless shelters. The shelters have cots and mats on the floor for families, couples and single people to sleep at night instead of in the cold or the heat of the streets. They are not allowed to live there, after a certain time everyone is asked to live but they do have the opportunity to get back on line and see if they can make it back in with the crowd of others waiting for their chance. This is a positive.
