We raised an incredible £238.00 for the Royal British Legion in 2022, smashing our target of beating last years amount of £171.14!

Our Pop-up Poppy Shop is Returning,
Last year, our Pop-up Poppy Shop will be returning to our Telephone Kiosk for 2022 on October 27th! The shop will be open everyday until November 14th between 9am and 7pm, 5pm on Sundays.
The store will be selling a wide selection of Poppy Merchandise like last year, along with a few NEW additions, items include keyrings, poppies, wooden tributes, wristbands and more. You can pay for items by depositing cash into the collection tins provided in the Kiosk. No cash or stock will be left in the kiosk overnight and CCTV will be in operation 24/7.

This year will be the first time that we'll be decorating our Village with new Lamp Poppies. On each of our street lights, telegraph poles, sign posts and in other locations, we'll be fixing large poppies to raise money for The Royal British Legion.

Door-to-Door Collections taking place,
Door-to-Door Collections taking place,
Our Volunteer Team will once again be out collecting donations for the appeal from households in Upton. Volunteers will be bringing round collection tins, including Poppies, wristbands and a selection of other merchandise to sell door to door.
These collections will be taking place in November and volunteers will be visiting all properties in Upton, you can give as little or as much as you like, as there are no set prices for Poppy Merchandise, only suggested amounts.

Last year (2021), with the help of Upton Residents, Upton Community Council raised over £170 for The Royal British Legion. This was an incredible amount of money raised by our small village and this year we'll be hoping to raise more than last year with our NEW Lamp Post Poppies.

As well as our activities, you can also plan your own and get your neighbours involved in the fun. You could host a coffee morning or other social events to raise money for The Royal British Legion.
