Developer: Flowbit Labs
Welcome to UpTapDown (“we”, “our”, “us”). We value your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information when you use our mobile application UpTapDown (the “App”).
(a) Personal Data
We do not collect, store, or share any personal information such as your name, email address, phone number, or precise location.
(b) Usage Data
To improve the app experience, we may collect limited, anonymous usage data such as:
App version and device model
Basic interaction data (e.g., button taps, feature usage, session length)
Crash logs and performance analytics (through Google Play services or similar tools)
This data is not personally identifiable and is used solely to enhance app performance, stability, and reliability.
(c) Advertising & Billing Data
If the App displays ads via Google AdMob or similar networks, those providers may collect advertising identifiers (such as the Android Advertising ID) to show personalized or non-personalized ads. You can manage or opt out of personalized ads in your device settings.
The App may also use Google Play Billing or similar services to process in-app purchases (for example, to remove ads, unlock UpTapDown Pro, enable additional themes or color schemes, or access advanced counter features). Billing data (such as purchase history) is handled by Google according to its own policies; we do not receive your full payment details.
You can learn more in Google’s documentation on how it uses information from apps that use its services.
(d) Counter Data & App Content
UpTapDown allows you to create, update, and manage counters, including values, goals, and related settings.
All counter changes (e.g., taps, increments, decrements, resets, goal updates) are processed locally on your device.
We do not upload your counter data or any app content to our own servers.
Your counters and related information remain on your device unless you choose to share them (for example, by taking screenshots or manually exporting information through other apps).
(e) Local App Data (Settings & History)
UpTapDown may store the following information locally on your device:
App settings and preferences (e.g., language, theme, Pro status flag)
Counter-related options (e.g., last used goal, step size, sort order, vibration or sound preferences)
Optional counter history or metadata (e.g., last updated time, current value, target value)
This information is stored only on your device using local storage technologies (such as SharedPreferences, local databases, or similar). We do not sync this data to our own servers.
We do not store user data on our own servers.
App settings, preferences, and counter-related options are saved locally on your device.
No personal data is transmitted externally by us, aside from what is handled by third-party services (such as ads, analytics, and billing) under their own policies.
We take reasonable measures within the scope of a mobile app to protect the data stored on your device, but you are also responsible for keeping your device secure (e.g., using a lock screen, keeping your OS up to date, and avoiding unauthorized access).
The App may use third-party services that can collect information used to identify you or your device. These include (but are not limited to):
Google AdMob – for displaying ads
Google Play Services – for analytics, crash reporting, and basic diagnostics
Google Play Billing – for handling in-app purchases
These third parties have their own privacy policies that govern how they use your data. We encourage you to review their policies before using the App.
The App is not directed to children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone, including children. If you believe that a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Users are encouraged to review this page periodically to stay informed about how we protect your information.
Your continued use of the App after any changes to this Privacy Policy constitutes your acceptance of the revised Policy.
