Meet Your Guides

Fred was born and raised on Conesus Lake and spent most of his days as a kid exploring and fishing in and around Conesus Lake.  His father, Fred Sr., who also was a fishing guide,  taught him to fish, and have a love of the outdoors and nature.  The love of fishing and hunting was, and still is, a joy in his in life that he has passed along to his children and grandchildren.

Fred is a retired Deputy Sheriff.  Currently, he is a youth football coach and has coached his 4 children in sports over a span of many years.  During the summer Fred runs a weekly Bass fishing tournament, Conesus Lake Tuesday Night Working Man Tournament. 

His love for the sport of fishing also provided him with professional fishing opportunities in various national tournaments. Fred has qualified for the Bassmaster Team Championship three times.  He also fished numerous Bassmaster Opens and continues to compete in local tournaments.  

Fred is a NYS Certified Fishing Guide.  He is looking forward to sharing his love of fishing and offer this service to all of you.
