2026 Field Day!!
August 6, 2026, marked the 5th annual Invasive Species Field Day hosted by UWIN! In partnership with the DNR, Salamonie Lake, Purdue Extension, SWCD, and other Huntington, Miami, and Wabash County partners, we were able to sponsor this educational event and provide pesticide applicator credits and valuable information to the general public.
More than 50 attendees participated in the event, which featured excellent speakers, hands-on lessons, and a variety of topics focused on invasive species management and education. It was a great opportunity to bring partners and community members together to learn, share resources, and build awareness around invasive species.
