My industry is Futuristic Complex designs that use modern technology to create garments, I am very inspired by the way they created and how each designer has a different feel to their work. Even though I am fixated on a Futuristic outlook I also want to show traditional techniques, fabrics, and designs aligning with futurism.
In the industry I am inspired by high fashion designers such as iris van herpen and other like designers. I did look at street wear and traditional designers but I know this doesn’t align with my aesthetic and design ideas.
Look into the designers…
I want my designs to be modern and futuristic but with traditional wear that is accepted by cultures and I really want to enhance the meaning behind the garments.
I will include pieces to highlight real life problems that are happening in the world and even if they are controversial to the audience I will capture the essence of how important these problems are even if they are negative I will turn it into a project to help the people which are effected by it.
The looks of my garments will be creative and modern, some being complex structures and others being playful with the pieces for the garments.
I want to be in couture and high fashion but having creativity and bold statements, so couture can be seen in a different angle, like inspiration from Alexander mcqueen, iris van herpen and Karl Largafeld.
