" I’ve enjoyed developing teamwork skills in projects, for example, creating our mural at Layton library, and also my idea generation skills, as with each project, I felt I was digging deeper into what I could do with the theme. Furthermore, I have enjoyed learning to be independent in my last year and feel as if it was important for me to do so to show myself that I can do it. Lastly, I’ve enjoyed expanding my technical skills because I’ve been able to feel and see that progression in my work." - Lyla

I know, deep down, that these connections will last, and I can see each of us being part of one another’s journeys, no matter where life takes us. “Students should do this course for many reasons, first being the opportunities for live briefs, giving you experience of how it might be working in the creative field. Also, the many diverse choices for the future make this a great course to study because there are so many things you can go on to do, whether it’s in the creative industry or not.
The course is really well structured, and at the end, there is a project that focuses on the next steps to ensure you have help and time to choose what you want to do and how best to do it. Lastly, I think people should choose this course because beforehand I didn’t know what I wanted to do in the future or how I would use art/create art as a career, but now as I am finishing I knew it was right for me and I’m glad I chose this course.” - Lyla
