About Us

Jim and Susan Solomon have been married for 53 years and are proud of their four married children who have blessed them with 12 exceptional grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Jim has served as CEO, CFO and Director of several public and private corporations. He is a Certified Public Accountant and was an MBA Adjunct Professor at the University of Utah Graduate School of Business.

Beginning in 2013, Jim and Susan were fortunate to help over 1,000 people struggling at low wages to dramatically uplift themselves through state-issued certifications/licenses for specific skills. The positive impact upon those folks and their families was profound.

Now retired, Jim and Susan devote full-time to Uplift People, a nonprofit organization they founded to uplift thousands of additional families struggling at low income. They also enjoy assisting employers and state/local agencies to boost profitability and program successes.
