Our Method
Technique is our foundation with fun art as the result. Art can be even more fun and driven when you know your tools, supplies, and how to make them work for you. Our method is designed to teach you impactful art techniques to propel your art into a new level of professionalism, if that is what you are looking for. We will work with you to achieve your goals for your art journey. All levels of artists are welcome to thrive in our studio. We happen to LOVE working with beginners!

In order for you to be able to grasp and utilize these techniques, we encourage our students to attend several different events to ensure the artist is fully formed with knowledge and experience. One session will help lay the foundation, but several sessions will ensure the foundation and details are grasped with application. Each session will be a new level of education and fun!

With each course, our goal is that you will grasp an art education that is multifaceted. We want to see you know how to handle your tools and supplies while also creating inspiring art masterpieces within your unique style range. Each artist will leave our studio knowing exactly how to begin their art career or hobby and how to continue growing as they create. We want to set you up to succeed in the art world! Wausau already has multiple amazing art businesses, so why open another? Thank you for asking. Our approach is different and unique because our focus is building technique and ensuring the setting fits that of a professional school without the hassle or extreme costs associated with art schools. Our competition is the colleges and public school curriculums, not our fellow art studios! We believe in building up the community and partnering with others in the area.

Painting has never been something I enjoyed, until attending a few of Jackie’s classes. This girl will gently guide you through each new challenge, give helpful tips when needed, and celebrate every victory with you! With every step, she inspires confidence with her “you’ve got this” attitude, and I appreciate the stress-free, free-range atmosphere Jackie encourages by letting you take ownership for your own art, while using the building blocks you need to help you succeed, and even having the space to fail a few times in the process! It’s always such a fun experience painting with Jackie and feeling like a million bucks after creating a piece of art that I can call my own.
