1. Information We Collect

Information you provide:

• Current job role and career direction (target role/industry)

• Urgency/situation details you enter during onboarding

• Daily time availability preferences

• Check-in responses and progress data

Automatically collected:

• Device type and operating system (for app functionality)

• App usage data (check-in streaks, phase progress)

We do not collect: real name, email address, phone number, location, or payment card details. Subscription payments are processed entirely by Apple/Google — we never see your payment information.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To generate your AI-personalized daily actions and 4-phase career transition plan

• To track your progress and check-in history

• To send push notifications at your chosen time

• To restore your data if you reinstall the app

3. Data Storage

Your profile data is stored on our secure backend (Supabase). Sensitive tokens are stored in device secure storage (iOS Keychain / Android Keystore). We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties.

4. AI Processing

Your role, target, and situation details are sent to an AI model to generate personalized actions and a transition roadmap. This data is processed solely for generating your content and is not used to train AI models.

5. Third-Party Services

• RevenueCat — manages in-app subscriptions (subject to RevenueCat's privacy policy)

• Apple / Google — handle all payment processing

• Expo / React Native — app framework; no independent data collection

6. Data Retention & Deletion

You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from the Profile tab. Upon deletion, your data is permanently removed from our servers within 30 days.

7. Children's Privacy

Pivot is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

8. Changes

We may update this policy. We'll notify you via the app for material changes. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
