Celebrate the legacy of Marvin Gaye with L. “Cherry Blossoms & Chopsticks” (Tucker Tour) Tuesday, April 7, 2026  $179

The day begins at the USC Pacific Asia Museum.  Here you will explore Japanese prints, finely crafted ceramics and an array of treasures from the museum’s ever-changing exhibits.  The journey continues at Benihana for a unique dining experience.  The day concludes at the Japanese Garden.  This 6.5-acre oasis stands as a living work of art: the Dry Zen Garden, with carefully raked gravel patterns, the Wet Strolling Garden, with koi-filled ponds, and the Formal Tea Garden, of elegance and peace.  This day blends art, exquisite cuisine, and tranquil landscapes, into one memorable Japanese-inspired journey.  Walking level: Moderate.

"Birthday Luncheon" (Upland) Thursday, March 26, 2026  $30

“JPL Tour” (La Canada Flintridge) Tuesday, March 3, 2026  $93

The Jet Propulsion Laboratory is a leading US center for robotic space exploration, managed by Caltech for NASA, building spacecraft and rovers for exploring our solar system.  We will have a 2 ½ hour guided walking tour with multiple flights of stairs that is approximately .08 miles.  Our first stop will be lunch at Buca Di Beppo, included, served family style.  Mixed Greens & Caesar salad, Spaghetti Marinara, Fettucine Alfredo, Chicken Parmigiana, dessert, soft drinks, coffee and tea.

“Reagan Library” (Simi Valley) Tuesday, February 17, 2026  $107

We begin our day with a docent-led tour of the library.  Then we will enjoy a buffet under the wings of Air Force One. Buffet includes salad, chicken breast, BBQ sauce, mashed potatoes, baked beans, dessert and beverages.  On your own on a self-guided tour of the special exhibition, American Cowboys.  This exhibit contains cowboy history and memorabilia from Hollywood legends, Roy Rogers, John Wayne, Clint Eastwood and Ronald Reagan.  Ronald Reagan once said, “Cowboys can sometimes grow up and be President”.

“Rat Pack Tribute” (Lewis Playhouse) Sunday, January 25, 2026  $54

Songs of the Rat Pack brings the golden age of swing to life with timeless style and charm.  The tribute includes the D. Ben-Jamin Big Band Orchestra and powerhouse vocals.  Drive yourself to the Lewis Playhouse.  The remodeling in front of the theater is tentatively scheduled for completion in Fall 2025.  If completed by this show, pick up tickets in front of theater.  If not pick up tickets in the rotunda between the Playhouse and the Library from 1:10 – 1:35 pm.

“A German Day in LA” (Tucker Tours) Thursday, January 8, 2026   $157

Join us for a unique cultural journey through Los Angles as we explore the lasting influence of German heritage, from modernist art and architecture to traditional food and faith.  We begin the day in Montrose at a neighborhood bakery offering European-style pastries and visit Schreiner’s Fine Sausages.  Enjoy a casual lunch at Wurstkuche, a popular spot known for German-style sausages and Belgian fries, includes a small sample of German beer to complete the experience.  We will then visit the Museum of Contemporary Art, where a special section highlights the impact of German Modernism and the Bauhaus movement.  Our day ends at the First German Methodist Church, where you’ll see stained-glass windows created by Judson Studios.

With almost 117 years of history, the Newport Harbor Christmas Boat Parade is viewed by over a million people each year.  Before we partake in this festive holiday tradition, you'll enjoy a delicious dinner.  After dinner, we will board our private boat and cruise the waters to see where Newport Harbor comes alive with decorations.  Meal choice due at signup: Shrimp Pasta, Teriyaki Tri Tip, Skewered Chicken, or Vegetarian.  The Shrimp Pasta has a light cream wine sauce, linguine pasta and garlic toast.  The Teriyaki Tri Tip is served with vegetables and mashed potatoes.  The Skewered Chicken is skewered with onions and bell peppers, served with a honey mustard dipping sauce, vegetables and rice pilaf.  All include coffee or tea and dessert.

“Treasures of Pasadena” (Tucker Tour) Thursday, May 15, 2025  $123

Join us on a fascinating journey through Pasadena to see its most beautiful and nostalgic landmarks.  Our day will begin with a docent lead tour of the Gamble House and its history through rooms lined with rare woods, featuring handcrafted details, fixtures and furnishings.  Lunch on your own in Old Town Pasadena.  We will end our day with a docent tour of the Wrigley Mansion, also known as the Tournament House.  Surrounding the House are the Wrigley Gardens, which span four and a half acres and more than 1,500 varieties of roses, camellias and annuals.  All visitors must wear flat, broad-heeled shoes to protect the antique rugs and floors.  Walking+++

“Vicki Lawrence” (Citrus College, Glendora) Sunday, May 4, 2025  $47
