Church Council – (18th February)

World Day of Prayer (6th March)

The Service this year has been prepared by Women in Nigeria.  It will be held at St John’s Church at 2.00pm.  

Easter – (2nd – 5th April)

Flower Festival (Weekend of 16th May)

This would be something completely different and needs detailed planning.  The idea is to invite organisations in the Village to prepare a floral display on the theme of, ‘All Things Bright and Beautiful’

Eco Weekend (Weekend  30/31st May)

We are keen to hold a ‘Green’ Retreat.  It was agreed that the weekend of 30th and 31st May could be used to have a Quiet Day on Saturday feeding into Worship on Sunday.  

Village Fete (27th June)

If we are offered a ‘pitch’ we will accept.  Our preference would be to combine with St Nick’s for an activity rather than having stalls next to each other.

Church Anniversary (12th July)

We would like Judith to lead our Anniversary Worship but also wondered about using the opportunity to invite another speaker from a different denomination. 

Summer Garden Party (15th August)

Betty and her family have once again invited us enjoy an afternoon together in their garden.
