credit + grades + Transcripts

The Barcelona SAE Academic Center (SIS) is a Spanish institution with U.S. accreditation through Jacksonville University (JU). The Universitat Pompeu Fabra (UPF) is recognized by the Spanish Ministry of Education as a degree granting institution of higher learning.

Upon completion of programs at SIS, students will be responsible for requesting their official JU transcript to send to their home institution for credit. Have your transcript sent directly to studyabroad@business.illinois.edu. If you need to check your SIS grades, you can do so through your Moodle account. Your UPF transcript will be sent to your home university automatically.

Your records officer will use the final Course Approval Form you submit to determine how the course will transfer to UIUC (grade, credit/no credit, and the course equivalency). The transcript and credit recommendation will be sent to the Registrars Office for final processing. They will add the courses, credits, and grades to your permanent record. Please note that it could take up to three to six months for your final grades to appear on your DARS.

Visit the Study Abroad Course Approval Database to view courses that already have a UIUC course equivalency. If you want a course articulated that is not in the database, fill out the Business Course Approval Request Form or the Gen Ed Course Approval Request Form.
