PROJECT SUMMARY
The project Up-skill and re-skill librarians in modern marketing solution curriculum is implemented within the Erasmus+ program of the European Commission in areas of small-scale partnerships for adult education. The project coordinator is Public Library "Vuk Karadžić" from Kragujevac, and the partner institution participating in the project is the National Association of Librarians and Public Libraries from Romania (Associatia Nationala a Bibliotecarilor si Bibliotecilor Publice din Romania).
The main goal of the project is to improve the skills of librarians in the field of contemporary marketing solutions through the development of an adequate curriculum. The project will enable librarians to acquire the latest knowledge focusing on digital transformation and improving skills in the field of digital marketing, social networks, copywriting, publication planning and graphic design.
The expected results of the project are a curriculum for modern marketing solutions adapted to libraries, identification of experts and experienced lecturers who will share their knowledge in a future project, contributing to the improvement of marketing strategy in libraries. Collaboration and peer learning encouraged by study visits will further enrich the skills of the participants and encourage further cooperation.
The results of the project are expected to contribute to the better understanding of contemporary marketing principles and their application in library practice.
