The University of Oregon's Women in STEM (WIS) club aims to empower female-identifying and nonbinary undergraduate students who are majoring, minoring, or curious about science, technology, engineering, and math. We welcome people from all fields who want to learn more about science, how to get involved in research, what a career in science could look like, or who simply want to make friends with people who share common interests!
We assist students in their college careers by hosting events that showcase the wide range of science offerings at the UO. Stop by our meetings to make connections with women in your field, get help with schedule planning, listen to a professor speak about their research, or hear from other students about their experiences in STEM at the undergraduate and graduate level.
